Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sanjay Dutt’s much-awaited film Bhuj: The Pride of India will premier on Disney+Hotstar on August 13. The makers dropped the film teaser on Sunday, July 11. The teaser ignites the feelings of patriotism, with a powerful dialogue by Ajay Devgn’s character, Vijay Karnik, IAF Squadron.
The film Bhuj: The Pride of India traces the journey of IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik as it is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. It. The teaser is high on action and Ajay Devgn’s character can be heard saying that a soldier lives and dies for his country.
Ajay Devgn shared the teaser on social media and wrote, “THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. THE TRAILER OUT TOMORROW. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @disneyplushotstarvip #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex.”
Earlier in the press conference held last year, Ajay Devgn, who is essaying the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in Bhuj: The Pride of India, talked about his character in the film. He said, “Bhuj is a true story based on real-life characters. I am playing a Squadron Leader. It is a big-scale film. The story revolves around how a handful of people stop the Pakistani army when the Indian army cannot reach them in time.”
The period drama is directed by Abhishek Dudhaiy. The film also stars Ammy Virk, Ihana Dhillon, Sharad Kelkar, Nora Fatehi and Pranitha Subhash. Initially, the film was slated to release last year in theatres on August 14 but got delayed due to a novel coronavirus pandemic.
