Another upcoming crime drama, my dear friends is Bhakshak, that will be releasing on Netflix on the 9th of February. A Red Chillies Entertainment production, directed by Pulkit, produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, this is a true story.
The trailer released on Thursday, and is the story of a woman’s journey to seek justice. She wants to bring to light the injustice against women and the protagonist is played by Bhumi Pednekar. Towards the end of the trailer, Bhumi is seen telling a girl, “Bachchon ke adhikar ke liye lad rahe hain hum, samajh rahi ho? ( We are fighting for girls rights, do you get it?)”
Director Pulkit shares, “Our aim was to shed light on the harsh realities of society and spark conversations that lead to meaningful change. I’m looking forward to more people joining this important dialogue.”
The streaming partner for this film is Netflix and the story will not only entertain, it will enlighten the masses. With a stellar cast of Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar, it will shed to light a heinous crime against women where nothing was stop the journalist from unveiling the truth.
