In 2003, Bhumika Chawla made her acting debut in Salman Khan’s film ‘Tere Naam.’ For her portrayal in the film, the actress earned a lot of praise and affection from the public.

During a recent interview with a website, the actress discussed her hiatus from Bollywood. She admitted that she received good screenplays on occasion, but that she was preoccupied with another project at the moment. On the other hand, some screenplays were excellent, but things didn’t always go as planned, and others didn’t meet her tastes.

She said, “This creates a chasm in the film business, and the fraternity begins to believe that the actress is not up to the task.” She went on to say that she has been quite involved in the film business in the South. The actress went on to say that she is eager to work on new projects right now.

“It just so happened that sometimes fantastic screenplays came up while I was working on other projects, sometimes scripts came along that I really loved but things didn’t work out for different reasons, and then some didn’t quite meet my sensibilities. In such circumstances, the gap in the industry widens, leading to the perception that you are not ready to work. It also becomes an out-of-sight, out-of-mind issue. “However, I’ve worked in the South Indian film industry,” Bhumika explained. She also stated that she is willing to work on worthy projects.

The actress most recently appeared in the Telugu romantic comedy ‘Paagal.’ She will next be seen in the Tamil film ‘Kannai Nambathey,’ the Telugu film ‘Seetimaarr,’ and the Hindi film ‘Operation Majnu
