One of the most well-known dishes in Indian cuisine is biryani. This dish of slow-cooked rice is a fan favourite because it explodes with flavour like no other. If you ask a roomful of people if they want biryani, you will almost certainly only get a positive response. One city with a reputation for serving up some of the most delectable biryanis is Hyderabad. Although Hyderabadi food offers a wide range of exquisite treats, the Hyderabadi biryani is well known across the nation. For Indian cuisine lovers, it would be a shame to visit Hyderabad and skip the Hyderabadi biryani. A new video from Hyderabad has hurt the hearts of Indian cuisine enthusiasts online since Hyderabad is known for its biryanis.
Hyderabad is flooded as a result of the frequent rain. Two biryani containers were seen floating away in one of the city’s flooded streets, as photographed by a desi eater. The biryani containers appear to have been taken in front of a local restaurant called the Adiba Hotel in Hyderabad. Biryani lovers are devastated when this little film went viral. People can’t help but relate to the video’s title, which reads, “Somebody is going to be disappointed for not getting his biryani order.” The trending video was tweeted by @IbnFaraybi and has received over 1.1 million views, 435 likes, and 78 retweets.
Even though the video has a depressing tone, many can’t help but find humour in this tragedy. It is poetic on many levels to watch the biryani serving pieces float away. The dum biryani has been rebranded as “tairti biryani,” and people have also commented on a new method of food delivery.
