Actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal passed away early this morning in Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai due to Covid-19. He was a retired army officer who played supporting roles in films and television. He was 52.
Bikramjeet Kanwarpal made his acting debut in 2003 after retiring from the Army. He was seen in popular television shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi toh Hai among others. On silver screen, he was seen in films like Murder2, Aarakshan, Hijack, Corporate, Paap, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, 2 States among others.
The actor was last seen in web series Special Ops streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “Oh my god!!! What a sad news!!! We knew each other for 14 years since the making of 1971! REST IN PEACE MAJOR!!! So shocking!!!”
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “Sad to hear about the demise of actor Major Bikramjeet Kanwarpal this morning due to #Covid. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Heartfelt condolences to his family and near one.”
“And we lose another one… The happiest, most gentlemanly, always positive and smiling Major Bikramjeet… RIP”, wrote Rohit Bose Roy while sharing his pic.
Neil Nitin Mukesh mourned Bikramjeet’s death and shared his picture on Twitter and wrote, “Extremely sad news. I have known Major Bikramjeet for so many years. He and I have worked on so many films together. The last being Bypass Road. Such a fantastic, encouraging and energetic human being he was and will always be remembered as. #RIP My dear friend will miss you.”
