Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon’s much anticipated soulful track, Filhaal 2: Mohabbat, was released on July 6. The song has garnered immense popularity and the song’s content spurs hilarious memes. Akshay took to social media on Wednesday evening to thank his fans for their love for the song and lauding the creativity with memes, the actor shared his favorite ones.
Filhaal 2: Mohabbat is the sequel of the music video, Filhall, released in 2019, which also starred Akshay and Nupur. Singer B Praak helms the sing and it also stars Ammy Virk.
Sharing the favorite memes on the song, Akshay Kumar wrote on Twitter, “Thank you SO much for all the love to #Filhaal2Mohabbat. I know the pain in it made some of you sad. So here’s reposting some fun memes by Filhaal fans to make you smile. Amazing creativity, amazing spirit.”
Akshay Kumar’s tribute to Dilip Kumar
Earlier the day, Akshay was one of the first celebrities to pay his tribute remembering Dilip Kumar. The legendary actor passed away on Wednesday morning, July 7, in Mumbai. The actor took to Twitter and mourned his death.
He wrote, “To the world, many others may be heroes. To us actors, he was The Hero. #DilipKumar Sir has taken an entire era of Indian cinema away with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Om Shanti.”

Akshay Kumar will be seen in Bell Bottom, which is going to release in theatres on July 27. The spy thriller also features Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi, and Vaani Kapoor, helmed by Ranjit M Tewari.
The actor also has Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif. Directed by Rohit Shetty, The film also features Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in cameos appearances. Besides this, Akshay will also be seen in Raksha Bandhan opposite Bhumi Pednekar. The actor also has Atrangi Re, Ram Setu in the pipeline.
