Veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli’s younger son Rajnish Kohli, 40, passes away on Wednesday (April 7). The reason behind his death is said to be unexpected health problems. He was wheelchair-bound and never came in the limelight.
He was residing with his father, producer and director Rajkumar Kohli and mother, actress Nishi Kohli and his elder brother actor Armaan Kohli. Sources closed to actor Armaan informed that he used to take care of Rajnish like his own child.
Rajkumar Kohli is a renowned film maker and known for his work in films like Dulla Bhatti (1966), Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Raaj Tilak (1984). While his mother, Nishi has worked in black-and-white era in Punjabi and Hindi films. She often used to share screen space with Dara Singh. Her prominent films include, Main Jatti Punjab Di, Main Nashe Mein Hoon, Ganwaar, Phagun among others.
Armaan was seen in reality television show Bigg Boss 7 as a contestant. He was also seen in Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor starrer film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. In the film he was seen in a negative role which got released in 2015. Earlier,in the 1990s,he was seen in films like, Dushman Zamana, Anaam, Aulad Ke Dushman, Qahar to name a few.
