After actress Shilpa Shetty released her statement on her husband Raj Kundra’s porn scandal, her younger sister Shamita Shetty has shown her support for the actress. On Monday, August 2, Shilpa Shetty had shared a note where she talked about ‘unwarranted aspersions’ by the media houses and social media platforms and the trolling she and her family faced after Raj Kundra was arrested in the porn racket case.
Shilpa Shetty released her first official statement post-Raj Kundra’s arrest in the pornographic content case. Commenting on Shilpa’s post, her sister Shamita Shetty wrote, “I love u my munki and with you always..through thick n thin .. always @theshilpashetty.”

In her statement which she released on her Instagram handle, Shilpa Shetty said that she will continue to follow her philosophy ‘Never complain, never explain’ and will not comment on the ongoing porn case. Her husband, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai police on July 19. The police also questioned Shilpa about her involvement in the case.
Raj Kundra was arrested as a key conspirator for creating porn films and streaming them through paid mobile applications. He has been booked under sections 34 (common intention), 420 (cheating), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides these relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
