Shefali Shah seems to be in a very exciting place in her career at the moment with multiple interesting projects lined up. In a recent conversation with an e-portal, the actress confesses that after Delhi Crime, things have changed for her in a better way. When ask her for an update on its release be an e-portal, she shared, “We have shot for the second season and have just left a couple of days of patchwork. Everything got delayed due to the pandemic and the lockdown, so we are going to do the patchwork now. I don’t know anything about the release date, but I am hoping it is before the end of the year.”

After which, Shefali Shah also has Darlings also starring Alia Bhatt and which is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment along with Alia’s production house.  To this she added, “Darlings is a dark comedy on a very important topic but it is treated in a very humorous way. It is very funny and wicked as hell. I have never played a character or done a genre like this. People have this image of me as being very intimidating and serious and that I only do intense roles, but Darlings will break that as it is a comedy. I am so excited about it also because we have such a fantastic team led by Jasmeet, our director.”

“Anil Mehta sir is our DOP, the script is kickass and we have Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew. I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I am having on that set,” she stated.
