Priyanka Chopra is closely following the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The actress has shown her support to Mary Kom who faced a close defeat in her recent match. Mary Kom lost 2-3 against Columbia’s Ingrit Valencia on Thursday.

Priyanka Chopra, who essayed the role of Mary Kom, in reel life, in Kom’s autobiographical 2014 movie made a post reacting to her exit from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The Sky is Pink actress took to Twitter to laud Mary Kom. She shared a picture of Mary Kom and called her a ‘legend’

She tweeted, “This is what the ultimate champion looks like… Bravo @MangteC… you’ve shown us how to go the distance with passion and dedication. You inspire us and make us proud Every.Single.Time #Legend.”

Earlier, while cheering for the country at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, PeeCee had extended her extra loud cheer for Mary Kom. The actress had tweeted and cheered for every one of the team. Her tweet was read as, “Best of luck #TeamIndia! I’m cheering for each and every one of you! P.S. @mcmary.kom, gave an extra loud cheer for you! @pvsindhu1, @dkumari.archer – go queens! Show em @mirzasaniar #Cheer4India #GarvHai #Tokyo2020.”

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is currently fulfilling her professional commitments in the UK. She is busy shooting for Citadel which also stars Game Of Thrones star Richard Madden.
