BTS has broken all records with their single ‘Butter’! Even though it has been more than 2 months since the release of the single, it is nowhere close to being done.
On August 7th at 9:15 AM KST, the single ‘Butter’ officially crossed the 500 million mark and proved itself to be a super hit. This isn’t the first BTS single to cross the prestigious 500 million views mark. This is actually BTS’ 11th video to achieve the feat. The music video managed to reach 108.2 million views within the first 24 hours, and broke the YouTube record as the ‘most viewed music video in 24 hours.’
Butter is a song with cheerful tunes, good beats, and nice choreography. It has a calm and pretty environment and was meant to cheer people up in these tough times. “Butter” also captured the #1 position on the U.S. Billboard ‘Hot 100’ for 7 consecutive weeks and for a total of 9 weeks!
