The craze for BTS is reaching people all over the world. More and more people have become a part of the popular BTS fandom, ARMY. The fandom is a supportive and wide one. As the BTS Army in Indonesia showed their support for BTS by buying the BTS meal, McDonald’s outlets had to shut down in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
Many Indonesian fans were waiting for the BTS meal. The day it was released in Indonesia, fans flocked to the nearest McDonald’s store in order to grab the highly awaited BTS meal. The stores saw long lines of fans outside and the numbers weren’t reducing. Since Indonesia has not allowed in-store eating due to coronavirus, fans lined up outside the stores and waited for a long time. The Police in Jakarta said that they had to close down 32 stores across the city and many more over the country. They had to take severe steps to prevent the spread of the virus. Many delivery persons along with fans had to stand in queue for long stretches of time in order to get their hands on the meal.
