BTS’s Label Big Hit Entertainment moved to its new HQ on 21st March 2021.

The new building is located at the Yongsan District in Seoul.  The Yongsan  Trade Centre has been revamped by the Big Hit. The building now has an impressive structure of 26 floors, nineteen above the ground level and seven floors below the ground.  The new logo of Big Hit “HYBE” is flashed in front of the building. Big Hit Entertainment’s official name has been changed to HYBE, as announced by Bang Si Hyuk around mid-March 2021.

The enlarged workspace in the new Big Hit building can accommodate all the associate companies that are now part of “HYBE”. In addition, the new building will accommodate various internal facilities and global operations of Big Hits.

The K-pop band BTS debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in the year 2013.  During 2013 Bit Hit was not a very renowned agency.  As the group, BTS rose to fame Big Hit Entertainment also gained immense recognition. The new building of Big Hits “HYBE” will have a special museum dedicated to BTS.

This museum is expected to be built on the basement floors for fans and citizens to visit. This museum will cover the group’s history since its debut in 2013. The museum will have a  display of  BTS’s many records, trophies, awards, and achievements This ‘BTS Museum’ is expected to become another hot spot for fans around the world. This museum will be opened to the public on payment of a certain amount as an entrance fee. Thus it would be a source of income for Big Hits as they expect to attract a huge crowd.

The interior of the building will consist of three main sections: entertainment, office, and public welfare.   On the top floor, there is a garden, auditorium, and café, all of which are expected to facilitate the creativity of  HYBE’s employees.

The building has 3 floors assigned to practice rooms, these will be used through a reservation system.  Even BTS has to make a reservation for using these floors. Now there are many artists under the affiliated label, so Big Hit intends to be fair to all of them.  There was a mixed reaction from netizens, some felt Big Hits should have given dedicated practice rooms to BTS, while others felt that other artists should be able to use them as well since BTS will not be around every day.
