The director of the upcoming movie, ‘The Big Bull’ based on the stock market, Kookie Gulati opens up about the movie and speaks about the movie when compared to the series ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’.

The movie ‘The Big Bull’ and the series ‘Sacm 1992’ which got released last year on SonyLIV has only one similarity that they are based on the stock market. The series featuring actor Pratik Gandhi in the lead role as Harshad Mehta, has the story was based on financial scams happening in 1980s and 1990s whereas, the movie starring Abhishek Bachchan is featured as a stock broker named Hemant Shah  and is a fictional tale.

The trailer of the film was released last week and the fans started to compare the movie, ‘The Big Bull’ with the series, ‘Scam 1992’. 

The two projects are completely different from each other and the audience will realize the same after watching the movie, said Kookie Gulati in an interview with PTI. 

Adding to it he mentioned, “I just hope the audience gives us a chance and watches the movie. I just hope that this movie also does well as the series did”.

Abhishek Bachchan, Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta and Sonam Shah will be seen in the movie which is set to release on April 8 on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie is produced by Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit.
