K-pop band BTS is back with their latest single Permission to Dance. The music video has the members of the band dressed up like cowboys. The song was released on BTS Army Day. “Permission to Dance” is also part of the BTS “Butter” CD that goes on stands today.

The theme of the video seems to be the end of the pandemic.  Many countries have resumed normal activity and consider Covid -19 to be behind them. For others, it can be an imagination of a world free of Covid-19. The video has people sporting face masks and they fling them off towards the end.

English pop icon Ed Sheeran has collaborated with BTS’s septets for “Permission to Dance”. This is his second collaboration with the band after ‘Make It Right’. Ed recently shared, “I’ve worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well.”

On BTS Army Day, the band will also release a BTS ARMY playlist.  Notable songs by BTS will feature on the playlist.  While the BTS Army can shake a leg with “Permission to Dance”, they can enjoy the playlist.
