The movie centers on the ruthless King Bimbisara, who can travel across time and who controlled the Trigartala Empire in the fifth century BCE.

The movie, which had a huge $40 million budget and was shot in Hyderabad’s famed Ramakrishna Studios, had music by M. M. Keeravani and Chirrantan Bhatt. On August 5, Bimbisara was released in theatres to positive reviews from both audiences and reviewers, resulting in a strong box office performance.

Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the movie, which was once planned to enter theatres in November 2021, may now be seen on August 5 this year. On October 21, the movie will have its digital premiere on OTT juggernaut Zee5.

The conflict in the film will be followed by the entry of the monarch Bimbisara into the modern world. The movie’s second segment will debut in August of next year.
