Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in April earlier this year. They welcomed their first baby at 12.05 pm in HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai on Sunday,6th November. They have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
Alia took to Instagram and shared, “And in the best news of our lives, our baby is here, and what a magical baby she is. We are officially bursting with love, blessed and obsessed parents, love love love Ranbir and Alia.”
In an earlier interview to CNBC Alia had added that Ranbir and she would plan their schedules after the baby was born. “I think the journey of discovery will begin once the baby comes. Definitely the intention is to share, as that’s most important.”
Alia reportedly underwent a C-section surgery and both the baby, and the mom are said to be doing well. She arrived at the hospital at 7.30 am for the delivery.
They recently shared screen space for the first time in ‘Bhramastra Part One: Shiva’ which is now streaming on Disney Hotstar.
On the work front, Alia will be seen in her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stone’ along with Gal Gadot. The actress congratulated the couple with party confetti and a heart emoji.
As soon as the news surfaced online, family members, friends, fans and other celebrities including Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jahnvi Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Sara Ali Khan and more extended congratulations to the new parents. Karan Johar shares, “My heart is full of love..welcome to the world baby girl..you have so much love waiting for you…I love you @aliabhatt and RK! To the moon and back!! So this makes me a proud Nana!!!
