Nani’s most recent album Netflix will shortly release Shyam Singha Roy, a film co-starring Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty. The picture was released in theatres on December 24, just in time for Christmas. The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and features a plot written by Jangu Satyadev. The spooky thriller will premiere on the popular streaming platform at 12 a.m. on Friday, January 21. (IST). After 28 days in theatres, the film will be available to stream on Netflix. The Nani-starrer will be released in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The picture made a strong showing at the box office. The film grossed over Rs 47 crore and starred Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ravindran, Abhinav Gomatam, Manish Wadhwa, Leela Samson, Subhalekah Sudhakar, and Anurag Kulkarni. The COVID-19 fear and conflict with Allu Arjun’s hit Pushpa harmed the film’s box office collection, despite positive reviews from moviegoers and reviewers. As Shyam Singha Roy prepares to debut on Netflix, Nani fans are ecstatic because they will be able to enjoy the film in the comfort of their own homes.
The narrative of the film, which is set in Kolkata, is focused on the subject of reincarnation. In the Rahul Sankrityan-directed film, Nani has a dual character. The performers’ performances were acclaimed when the picture was released, but the storyline was a significant let-down.
Music composer Mickey J Meyer, cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, and editor Naveen Nooli make up Shyam Singha Roy’s excellent technical team. The film’s satellite rights have been bought by Gemini TV, which is backed by Venkat Boyanapalli’s Niharika Entertainment.
Nani will next be featured in Dasara, opposite Nazriya Nazim, with Keerthy Suresh and Ante Sundarniki, both helmed by Srikanth Odhela and Vivek Athreya.
