The FIFA World Cup finals is to be held on the 18th of December at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar. Deepika will be the first global actor to unveil the trophy during the finals.
Deepika Padukone is expected to fly to Qatar soon to partake in this global event. The 36-year-old star will be the first actor to receive such an honour at the world’s most watched event.
Deepika recently represented India at the Cannes Film Festival as one of the jury members. She has also been listed in the top 10 most beautiful women according to the ‘Golden Ratio of Beauty’.
On the work front, Deepika will soon be seen alongside Shah Rukh and John Abraham in the movie Pathaan, that is set to release in theatres on January 25, 2023.
The other projects in her bag are “Project K” with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas and “Circus” with Ranveer Singh.
Last week Nora Fatehi was invited from India to perform at the FIFA Fan Fest event in the Gulf nation. She performed on Saki Saki and several other hit songs.
