Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone family members including her parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukona and her younger sister Anisha Padukone has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. As per reports, her mother and her sister are in home quarantine while her father is hospitalized in Bengaluru. The 65 year old Indian Badminton Player Prakash Padukone is stable and will be discharged from the hospital later this week.
Vimal Kumar, close friend of Prakash Padukone, stated that all his parameters are fine and he is doing fine now. He further stated, “Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive.”
“They got themselves isolated but after a week Prakash’s fever didn’t came down, so last Saturday, he was admitted to a hospital here in Bengaluru. He is okay now. All his parameters are fine, his wife and daughter are at home and he too will be hopefully discharged in 2-3 days”, he added.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is creating awareness through her social media on importance of mental health. She recently shared a list of verified mental health help lines with their contact details. She highlighted the significance of mental and emotional health during the ongoing pandemic.
She captioned her post as, “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, you are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is hope! #YouAreNotAlone @tillfoundation.”
