The popular television show Bade Acche Lagte Hain has completed 10 years, since its release. There were multiple speculations about Bade Achhe Lagte Hain season 2. The rumors stated that actress Divyanka Tripath Dahiya has been approved for lead role in the second season. After numerous headlines, the actress in an interview with ETimes, broke her silence and made the confirmation that she has been approached for the show.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress stated that, “Yes, I have got proposal the show but everything is under the initial stage. Nothing has been finalized till now. When any new show or a new season is coming up, the production house talks to many actors, so anything to say before is wrong. There is no confirmation on this till now.” The reports also mentioned that for the male lead role actor Nakkul Mehta has been finalized.
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain first season was a big hit and audience loved the on screen pair of Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. The audience gave a magnificent and dazzling response to the first season. The story revolved around an over-aged love story of a married couple. It is great news for the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain fans, as now they get to watch the second season with different story and characters.
On work front, Divyanka will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 that will mark its release on July 17. The actress came back to India from Cape Town post shooting of the reality show.
Recently, the actress also shattered the rumors about replacing Disha Vakani in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress spoke about it and said, “I have not been offered Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. I want to tell people spreading rumors about it to please stop. It’s a very popular, hit show and it is still being loved by people even after so many years. The artists playing characters on the show are wonderful and I am not replacing anyone as I have not been offered the show.”
