Vicky Kaushal, who recently married, took to social media on Friday to share a photo of himself showing his biceps after a workout. While the actor received a lot of positive feedback from fans, some remarked that now that he was married, he should stop posting these “thirst traps.”
Vicky shared a photo of himself in low lighting, displaying his post-workout pump. Many fans used the comment area to joke about and pull Vicky’s leg while followers sent fire emojis in thanks. “Stop putting thirst traps now, we know you’re married,” one admirer remarked, and he was backed up by a large number of others. Another said, “Bhai bhabhi kaisi hai (Brother, how is sister-in-law),” alluding to Vicky’s wife Katrina Kaif.
Another person mocked Vicky’s iconic phrase from his debut film Masaan, “Yeh dukh kaahe khatm nahi hota (Why doesn’t this misery stop).” “Ab dukh khatam ho gaya hoga (Now the grief must have stopped),” she said.
On December 9, Vicky and Katrina married in a small ceremony in Rajasthan. Only the couple’s family and close friends were present for the wedding. Katrina and Vicky had 120 people attend their wedding. Among those who went were Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur, and Punjabi musician Gurdaas Maan.
Despite rumours that the two were dating, they never spoke about it in public and managed to keep their relationship mainly hidden from the public. Both actors have resumed work since their nuptials. Katrina initially revealed a new project she’s working on alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Soon after, photos of her from the set of Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film became viral.
Vicky has also returned to work, having started filming on an unnamed forthcoming movie. A week after the wedding, the actor uploaded a vehicle photo on Instagram with a clapboard emoji, implying that he was back to work.
