Bollywood actress Esha Deol is all set to turn producer with her upcoming film Ek Duaa. The actress will bankroll the film and will also play a key role in it. Ek Duaa will be directed by Ramkamal Mukherjee and will release on Voot Select.
Esha Deol shared a long note on the official Instagram handle, announcing the same. In the caption, she revealed that she felt a deep connection with the character after reading the script and hence decided to back the film in collaboration with her husband Bharat Takhtani.
She wrote, “Overwhelmed to share with you all that under the banner of Bharat Esha Films (BEF) we are launching our first film as producers- Ek Duaa.”
“When I was approached with ‘Ek Duaa’ as an actress, I felt a deeper connect with the script. I just knew, I had to support the film, the cause, and would want to be associated with it as a producer too. It opened the doors for Bharat & me to start another innings as partners. Directed by @ramkamalmukherjee co-produced by @venkysuttarafoods @venkyschicken @bharattakhtani3 @amppvtltd Coming soon on @vootselect,” the actress added.
Recently, she also announced her digital debut. The actress will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn in the crime-drama series Rudra – The Edge of Darkness. The web series will release on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
