Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar are all set to get married this month. The couple decided to tie the knot after four years of courtship. Javed Akhtar had confirmed their wedding to ETimes and revealed how the planners are looking into minute details.
As per the reports of Bollywoodlife, the functions of Shibani and Farhan’s wedding will be spread across three destinations – Mumbai, Lonavala and Mauritius. Earlier, it was being guessed that the wedding will be hosted at Javed Akhtar and Shabhana Azmi’s Khandala farmhouse, ‘Sukoon’.
“Farhan and Shibani are living together and they don’t want to delay their wedding amid the pandemic, and so, they thought to keep it an intimate affair,” as per Bollywoodlife.com source.
Akhtar was married to Adhuna Bhabani with whom he has two daughters. Farhan and Adhuna decided to part their ways and divorced in 2017 . Farhan started dating Shibani in 2018. Since then the couple is going strong and quite social about their relationship.
The both are already living together and don’t want to delay their wedding further amid the pandemic situation, sourced Bollywoodlife.com. Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar took to Instagram to share a family portrait.
She wrote, “The Dandekar’s…gangsta was busy exploring somewhere, Monster was trying to tell him to get back in the picture hehe”
Recently, Javed Akhtar also had told Bombay Times, “Yes, the wedding is taking place. Rest, shaadi ki jo taiyyariyan hain that is being taken care of by the wedding planners.”
