We are all waiting for the sequel of Don 2 and recently, director Farhan Akhtar spoke about his decision to recast the character of SRK with Ranveer Singh.
Many fans have not taken to this change well, and Farhan candidly said, he was “not in the position of replacing anybody.” Elaborating, he said, “These are things that we discussed over the years, I wanted to take a certain direction with the story, but somehow, we (Shah Rukh Khan and I), just couldn’t find common ground. We just parted mutually knowing that it’s probably for the best. So that’s where it is.”
Farhan’s happy to have Ranveer Singh on board. He said, “I’m really excited Ranveer’s on board. He’s so charged and so ready to go. It’s a big film, just purely from the point of view of an actor, it’s a big thing to do, and we are really excited to have him on board. His energy is energizing us, so to speak.”
Ranveer’s first look has been really and it seems impressive. He can be seen seated in a building with his back to the camera. He lights up a cigarette, introduces himself as Don, wearing a leather jacket, leather boots, matching sunglasses and looks handsome.
We are sure Ranveer Singh will be as good as Amitabh Bachchan and SRK!
