Shahid Kapoor is on cloud 9 after the success of his show Farzi. The series released on 10th February and it has been a huge hit. The makers and the actors are basking in the glory of their success. But I come bearing more good news!!!
At a recent event, the actor confirmed the release of the show’s Season 2. Shahid said, “Farzi season 2 I am sure hoga lekin in cheezon mein waqt lagta hai- der do saal lagte hain kyunki show katam hone ke baad ek saal lagta hai uske post production main. Who usko 35-40 languages mein dub karte hai aur 200 countries mein release karte hai. Jab shoot hoga toh uske ek saal baad release hoga, toh I think der do saal toh hai Farzi Season 2 mein definitely.”
Raj and DK’s ‘Farzi’ is all about counterfeiting which is the world’s second-oldest profession. This 8 episodes web-series, is all about farzi notes and the entire cast has been highly praised for their roles.
On his OTT debut, Shahid feels that if the audience love something, they will shower a lot of love and affection for the same and if they don’t like it, they will drop it in two minutes. He has realized that OTT platforms are dynamic in their reach and film stars should diversify and take OTT more seriously.
Farzi has been much appreciated in India as well as globally. Good storyline, a great cast, superb locations and an enticing plot.
