It was Father’s day on Sunday and Bollywood celebs celebrated this special day by sharing heartwarming posts for their dads. Karisma Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, and many other celebs shared lovely posts on social media to express their love for their fathers.

Actress Karisma Kapoor posted a picture with father Randhir Kapoor and penned a note, “To someone who has held my hand throughout.. My papa. Happy Father’s Day #fathersday.”

Kareena Kapoor shared a photo with her father Randhir Kapoor and actor husband Saif Ali Khan. Sharing the throwback pic she wrote, “Superheroes. #FathersDay.”

Salman Khan often shared the precious family pic on social media to wish his father Salim Khan on Father’s Day. The family pictures featuring his siblings, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri. While the second photo features Alvira’s husband and actor Atul Agnihotri along with Arbaaz and Sohail’s kids. He simply captioned the pic as, “Happy Father’s day.”

Actress Hina Khan, who recently lost her father, tweeted, “Indeed a Father’s Day (Truly)… June 20th, It’s been two months today Dad. We clicked these pictures 7 months back and I didn’t let u see these pictures when they have clicked coz I wanted to post them on a special day…Never did I think that I will be posting them today.”

Ananya Panday shared series of a picture from her childhood to wish her dad Chunky Panday Happy Father’s Day. The actress captioned the post, “coolest there ever was, coolest there will ever be (and imma not joking about that) happy Father’s Day Papa, love u the most .”

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja shared a video with her father Anil Kapoor pictures from her childhood. She penned a heartwarming note, “Celebrating days like these when you’re far away from your loved ones is hard. Growing up, I remember being in awe of my dad’s charm on celluloid — he was the hero of every movie, fighting bad guys and saving the world. To me, that is my lived reality. My father is nothing less than a hero in real life — the one who strived and continues to strive for our “happily ever after..”. And how blessed and lucky am I to get two such loving dads.”

Dia Mirza shared two monochromatic pics with her father and captioned the post, “My Hero. My Angel.”

Bobby Deol also shared monochromatic still with his dad Dharmendra to pour in wishes on a special day. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “I will always be your little boy! Love you papa. Happy Father’s Day!!.”

Madhuri Dixit remembered her father Shankar R. Dixit on a special day. The actress shared a family picture on Instagram and captioned it, “Happy Father’s Day to all dads & the three special ones in my life. Today is one of those days when I miss you dad & I feel blessed to have the most loving father-in-law. Seeing the bond that Ram shares with the boys fill my heart. Here’s to celebrating fatherhood today and every day. #HappyFathersDay.”

Ayushmann Khurrana posted a couple of monochrome throwback photos with his dad and wrote, “Bachpan mein papa ki lagayi paabandiyon ko todne mein bahut mazaa aata tha. Aur ab bade ho kar khud pe lagayi paabandiyaan todi nahi jaati.”

He continued “We got it from him. The discipline. The love for music, poetry, films, and art. He studied law but was always intrigued by astrology. He’s the reason behind the double Ns and double Rs in my name. At the same time he also taught us that we have the ability to carve out our own destiny and our good karma can supersede any soothsayer. My friend, philosopher, and guide. Many other Bollywood celebs like Shilpa Shetty, Siddharth Malhotra, Kangana Ranaut,  Yami Gautam among others, celebrated the day by wishing their loved ones on social media.
