Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the finest filmmaker in Bollywood, and yesterday he celebrated his 25 years of completion in the Bollywood industry. All of the stars who were a part of SLB’s illustrious journey, from Ranveer Singh to Deepika Padukone to Ajay Devgn, went to social media to commemorate the filmmaker’s silver jubilee. Now today, the director has shared some exciting news with his fans that will make them ecstatic. Bhansali productions has announced about his new venture by posting their first official poster for Bhansali’s forthcoming film Heeramandi on their Instagram account.

For a long time, there had been rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to develop a series called Heeramandi, and now finally the first poster of the upcoming series is out. As per the reports by Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker is casting the film himself, which will be directed by his assistant Vibhu Puri. Reports by certain sources have suggested that, the acclaimed filmmaker is considering Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, Manisha Koirala, or Madhuri Dixit for his ambitious project. Sharing the first poster of Heeramandi on Instagram, Bhansali Productions wrote, “An epic experience awaits you… A visual spectacle that will leave you breathless. We are thrilled to bring #SanjayLeelaBhansali’s #Heeramandi on @netflix_in.”

Even Netflix India announced Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi on their Twitter account. The tweet reads, “Words aren’t enough to explain how excited we are that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is partnering with us for this epic Netflix Original series, but these emojis come pretty close.”

There is no official announcement of which star will be portrayed in the lead role, but the new poster has defiantly created buzz and fans are super excited to watch the upcoming Netflix Original series.
