Hanuman Jayanti: Bollywood celebs extend wishes to their fans

On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti b-town celebs took to social media to share wishes and prayers with their fans and well wishers. On this day, Hindu devotes offer payers and chant Hanuman Chalisa. Devotees visit Hanuman temple to seek blessings for a healthy and prosperous life. However, owing to the current situation across the country, the government has advised not to step out of the house. Celebs took to social media to extend the wishes and urges not to step out in this tough times.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter to wish his fans and shared a new song from upcoming film ‘Ramyug’. He tweeted, “On the auspicious occasion of Shri Hanuman Jayanti, we pray for you and your family are filled with happiness, prosperity and ayushya and we present a new religious composition ‘Jai Hanuman’ from the upcoming film ‘Ramayuga’”. 

Luka Chuppi actor Kartik Aaryan took to his official Instagram account and wished his fans. He shared a picture of Hanuman carrying an oxygen cylinder and captioned his post as, “This is for all covid warriors risking their own lives to save others. Jai Bajrang Bali #HanumanJayanti.”

Varun Dhawan too wished all his fans on this auspicious occasion on Instagram and in the caption quoted Hanuman Chalisa.

Other celebs who extended the wishes include Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Rhea Chakroborty among others. 

As the second wave of Covid-19 surge continues, India reports more than three lakh fresh cases for the sixth day in a row. The country logged a total of 3,23,144 Covid-19 cases and 2,771 deaths in last 24 hours.

The total cases recorded in India till now are 1,76,36,307 and recoveries are 1,45,56,209 while 1,97,894 is the total death toll.
