On Day 5 of the ongoing Fashion Design Council of India Couture Week, we saw the amazing collection showcased by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
To add to the scintillating collection, the showstoppers for the women and men couture collection were Sobhita Dhulipala and Ishaan Khatter and did they set the stage on fire?? YESSSSS, and boy they did steal the show in the amazing attire they donned on.
The show drew inspiration from ‘wintery walks with trellis designs on ancient metal fences, representing spots of floral hope and reflecting the change of seasons during autumn equinox.’ Sobhita looked ravishingly beautiful in a modern silver lehenga. It featured a strappy bralette blouse with a plunging neckline, sequin embellishments, a super crossed midriff baring hem and a fitted bust. She wore the choli with a matching lehenga skirt featuring a low-rise waist, cut out on the top, with delicate sequin embellishments, a floor sweeping hem length and a thigh-high slit on the side.
A matching sheer dupatta with tassels, sequins and a long trail at the back was seen to complete the look. She accessorised the ensemble with strappy heels, rings, a pulled back side-parted sleek hairdo and glossy nude lip colour.
Ishaan Khatter was the fierce showstopper for Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, dressed in a black suit from their latest collection. He walked the ramp shirtless wearing a black embroidered blazer with shimmery embroidery, padded shoulders, notch lapel collars. He paired the blazer with satin straight fitting pants.
Sobhita and Ishaan attracted everyone’s attention and their attire stood apart. Kudos to the designers for a fab ensemble!
