Actor and comedian Johnny Lever, turned a year older, on Saturday. To make his day special, his friend and actor Anil Kapoor shared a picture of himself standing next to Johny and penned a heartfelt wish for him. Taking to his official Instagram handle, Anil wrote, “Happy birthday to a man with a golden heart, one of India’s best comedians and above all a good friend. Keep making the world happy.”
Anil and Johnny have worked together in many films such as ‘Judaai’, ‘Deewana Mastana’, and ‘Total Dhamaal’ among several others.
Johnny’s son Jesse, also wished his father on social media. He posted a throwback picture on Instagram, wherein Johnny can be seen roasting snacks on the barbeque grill.
“Always learning from you. Throwback to this #bbq night back in 2002,” he wrote alongside the picture.
Johnny, who has turned 64 on August 14 began his acting career in 1982 with ‘Dard Ka Rishta’ and has showcased his acting skills in more than 300 movies. His comedy roles of Chhota Chhatri in ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’, Babulal in ‘Baazigar’, and Pappi Bhai in ‘Golmaal 3’ are some of the best roles of his acting career so far.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Raj Mehta’s directorial ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ along with Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Besides this, he will also be starring in ‘ANIMAL’ along with Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Bobby Deol. The gangster drama film is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
