Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the birth of their baby on their social media accounts last Friday. Priyanka and Nick welcomed a baby via surrogacy in California. Pretty soon, the couple was flooded with congratulatory messages from Hollywood stars on social media.
Priyanka and Nick shared the same statement on social media. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” they wrote.
Celebs from Hollywood congratulated the couple. Jake McLaughlin from Quantico series, commented on Priyanka’s post, “Congratulations You two! God Bless!” Actor Octavia Spencer said “Congratulations!!!!! Sending you something,” Misician John Legend commented on Nick’s post, “So happy for you both.” Others celebs like Karen Gilan, Awkafina, Lily James, Mindy Kaling, and Rebel Wilson congratulated the couple with heart emojis on their posts.
Lilly Singh, comedian and Priyanka’s good friend wrote, “AYE!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to cuddle them,” while Indian-origin actor Kal Penn commented on Priyanka’s post “congratulations! Kalpen uncle is ready to babysit,”
After the couple shared this news, Bollywood celebrities also dropped wishing messages in the comments section. Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Lara Dutta, Sania Mirza, Mindy Kaling, Rebel Wilson, Zoya Akhtar, Dia Mirza among others were overjoyed for the couple.
