Pop Star Britney Spears is under conservatorship of her since past 13 years. According to the New York Times ahead of her court hearings, the singer released a report that stated her point of view about her the conservatorship hat were made in old court documents.

On Tuesday, the sealed court documents were released by The New York Times in 2016, wherein the singer spoke out against her father Jamie and on the conservatorship guidelines. The records, transcripts and reports are said to be Britney’s “sentiments and situation”.

Reports from New York Times also stated that, her conservatorship also controlled her personal life about dating someone or if buying some new products. She was not allowed to use her own money and had to take permission from her dad even if she wish make some cosmetic changes. The NYT court investigator wrote that, “She articulated she feels the conservatorship has become an oppressive and controlling tool against her,”

The singer also spoke that her father Jamie is obsessed with controlling her, Britney quoted saying “Too much control…too, too much!”, meanwhile the singer also has the fear with the conservatorship because there are chances of harsh consequences if any mistake occur by her side.

The NYT court report also stated that the singer wants to end with the conservatorship, “she is tired of been taken advantage of and she is the one working and earning her money, but everyone around her is on her payroll.”

New York Times’ documentary gained all the headlines from Britney’s conservatorship after which her fans and friends from the music industry came in support of the singer to end the conservatorship on her. The hashtag ‘Free Britney’ was also trending all over social media.
