Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud relationship seems to lighten up ever since the brothers got reunited recently, to unveil the statue of their late mother Princess Diana on her 60th birthday. As per the reports by US Weekly, the relationship between the brothers is mending since they got reunited to give tribute to their mother, The Princess of Wales and unveiled the statue in her honour, in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace, London on Thursday, July 1.
A source revealed Us Weekly that, “William and Harry spent the morning before the statue unveiling looking through old keepsakes, notes from Diana and bonding, they have absolutely turned a new page in their relationship, and have started the healing. Everyone around them was thrilled to see how close they were on the day of the statue unveiling.”
William and Harry in a joint statement on Thursday spoke about their mother’s qualities and love. The brothers stated, “Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better. Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy. Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive.”
Relation between the Sussexes went bitter ever since Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family and moved to California. Things between the brothers got worst after Harry and Meghan gave the shocking statements in the Interview with Orpha earlier this year. Another source told last month that, “It’s no secret that the last year Harry and Meghan have been at war with the royals. All is not forgiven, but after all the backlash regarding their interviews — which by the way, the pair have no regrets about — they’re trying their utmost to maintain a good relationship with the queen in order to keep the peace.”
Another source has confirmed that, in the recent months, Duchess Kate is trying to connect and make good connections with Meghan, so that she can bring her husband William and Harry back on good terms.
