Prince Harry received a ‘Sustainable Sum’ by his Dad after Megxit, according to claims made by Charles’ office, despite of accusation made by Duke of Sussex about his family that “literally cut me off financially.”

In a controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, Price Harry claimed that he stopped getting financial support from the family in the first quarter of year 2020. But the Clarence House financial accounts showed that, Prince Charles continued to fund until summer 2020. The Audit of Clarence House from Prince Charles’ accounts shows that Charles supported both of his sons and their wife with sum of more than $6.25 million in the last financial year.

It was not clear, what exact amount went to both the brothers, but the Clarence House mentioned that it was a “substantial Sum”.  “That funding ceased in the summer of last year. The couple are now financially independent.” a Clarence House person told the UK media.

In January 2020 when Duke and Duchess announced about moving away and living independently, their departure was a sadness for the Royal Family to deal with but Prince Charles supported Harry and wife Meghan because “he wanted to help make this work.”

Hinting about the deals that the Sussexes have made with Netflix and Spotify reportedly worth £89million, the spokesperson said that, “I betray no confidence when I say they’ve been very successful in becoming financially independent.”

The Duke of Sussexes strike back at the Clarence House, from thier spokesperson to BBC, and accused them on putting unfair spin on the Finances. The spokesperson also added that, “The duke’s comments during the Oprah interview were in reference to the first quarter of the fiscal reporting period in the UK, which starts annually in April.”
