As Halloween approaches, the scary season is in full swing, and there are lots of ways to celebrate, especially if you live in the Los Angeles region. The LA Haunted Hayride is a traditional haunt event, but those who want to branch out might experience interactive horror theatre at Delusion and Creep LA. Another 88Twenty Group event takes things a step further by combining a music presentation with interactive theatre. The first part transports you to a world where vampires and humans coexist, followed by a musical performance starring vampires of the night singing and dancing.
One of the greatest ways to enjoy the scary season is to attend Hollywood & Vamp, which is seductive, dark, and a fantastic night out. The Bourbon Room in Hollywood, CA hosts Hollywood & Vamp. There was a line for those with tickets at the front, and once we got past it, we went upstairs. The host complimented us on our bravery for walking up, which made us wonder if we were on the right track. We were immediately hailed by a stranger who demanded that we assist him in getting beverages. I observed bleeding bite marks on his arms when I looked down. We rushed out of there and proceeded to the main bar area after he was distracted by other visitors.
The main bar area was on the left of the stairwell, with tempting vampires in chains. One of them advised us to leave, saying that staying would be disastrous. We were here for Hollywood & Vamp, which meant we couldn’t leave. Day walker, Holy Water, Up in Flames, and Staked Through the Heart were among the night’s specialty cocktails. A vampire would engage with you depending on the drink and where you are, exhibiting either curiosity or repulsion.
