Bollywood is taking a hit as films head for digital premieres instead of theatrical releases. Now, this Maddock Films’ project is ready for the direct-to-digital premiere. Dinesh Vijan’s next production Hum Do Humare Do is gaining attention thanks to the cast, the storyline and the visuals.

The two leads will be played by Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao. Reports from various sources are saying that films like Bellbottom, Chehre and Thalaivii opted for a theatrical release and that didn’t end up well because the costs couldn’t be covered. This is because the cinemas in Maharashtra have not opened up yet. That is why the producers refuse to bear more grunt and take those losses. Dinesh Vijan is said to opt for a digital release due to these reasons. Hum Do Humare Do will be another project between Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao as they reunite after their hit collaboration, Bareilly Ki Barfi.

The movie will be directed by  Gujarati filmmaker Abhishek Jain while the screenwriting will be done by Abhijeet Khuman and Deepak Venkateshan. The storyline is also funny and interesting. The story will show two generations. The story is about a married duo who feel that life isn’t complete without parents so they adopted a duo of parents. The parents are supposed to fill the void but they do that while bringing in some chaos too. Ratna Pathak Shah and Paresh Rawal will play the parents.
