For a trip to the movies, Beyoncé embraced Old Hollywood.
The director of Homecoming made an unexpected cameo at the London premiere of the upcoming Netflix film The Harder They Fall. She sat for a picture session in what looks to be an opulent, mirror-filled hotel suite to commemorate the event, which she published on Instagram.
Beyoncé is dressed in a bespoke strapless gown by Valdrin Sahiti, an Italian luxury company. The dress, which is made of black velvet and has a corset bodice and a plunging-V neckline, is so long that it reaches the floor. She completes the outfit with peep-toe heels and a silver jewelled handbag, wearing her hair in an exquisite curled blowout.
Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z attended the BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday to see the debut of his latest producing effort, The Harder They Fall, on Netflix. The “Single Ladies” singer maintained a quiet profile at the event, according to DailyMail, but thankfully for us, she posted some photos from the night on Instagram. The multi-hyphenate donned a beautiful Old Hollywood-inspired black plunging strapless gown with an asymmetric sweetheart neckline for the event. She accessorised her velvet gown with a glittering handbag and beautiful loose hair that cascaded down to her waist.
She went for a dewy complexion look with a neutral makeup pallet that included peachy lip gloss, sparkling pink eyeshadow, and peachy lip gloss.
The Destiny’s Child star stood next to mirrored walls in one (of three) Instagram posts, while the others showed her at a hotel, on a spiralling staircase, and in the car with her rapper hubby, resting her head on his shoulder.
