Another person who has been ‘offended’ Anushka’s Bengali accent has been termed as ‘caricature’ by a Twitter user: “I’m sorry, but being a Bengali, that accent offends me.” Do not accuse me of speaking in a certain way because Jhulan does. This accent seems like a caricature to me as a native Bengali, and I don’t think anyone who isn’t familiar with the language will comprehend.”
