The Great Indian Laughter Champion is home to many comedians from different parts of India who come from different parts of the country to win the coveted title and showcase their talent. This show airs on SONY TV. It is judged by Archana Puran Singh and Shekhar Suman and hosted by the gorgeous and effervescent Rochelle Rao.

In the episode aired on 25th June, Rachelle warmly welcomes everyone and asks if everyone is geared up for a night full of humor. She calls on Shekhar Suman, who recites a Shayari as he enters and welcomes Archana Puran Singh. Further on, she invites Haseeb Khan from Bhopal, K.T. from Mumbai, Sundar Kataria from Haryana, Himanshu Bawandar from Madhya Pradesh, and Suraj Tripathy from Jodhpur. Last but not least, she calls upon the guru of laughter, the laughter Sarpanch: Padmashri Surender Sharma.

The audience extends a warm welcome and he starts by praising Archana Puran Singh. He cracks many jokes and talks in Marwadi- Hindi. Then he goes on to chat with the five comic contestants and questions them, to which all give humorous replies and have the audience in splits. Rochelle asks him if he’s as beautiful as his name suggests.

Sundar says maybe his parents had seen his inner beauty and called him so. He questions K.T. why his name is so short. He replies in spite of being a South Indian, his name is short. Further on, each one comes and starts their stand-up comedy and everyone laugh their hearts out. Rochelle announces that K.T., Sundar Kataria, and Himanshu Kataria are the quarter-final contestants.
