With the buzz going around, Jee Le Zaraa seems to have been shelved since awhile. Farhan Akhtar seems to be concentrating on his acting with Aamir Khan Production rather than his direction. Fans have been waiting to see their favorite stars together but the project hasn’t got all it’s wings together and I am going to tell you why!
Firstly, Priyanka Chopra has numerous Hollywood commitments and asked Farhan if the film could be shot in 2024. While Farhan was okay with it, Alia has Ramayana and Baiju Bawra for the year 2024. The two movies are going to be time-consuming plus taxing, so she can’t go justice to a third one. Katrina too is busy preparing for Tiger 3 and after a point, can’t commit so much in advance.
So, as of now, the movie is not happening at least with the same cast and let’s hope a revamp works out at a later date. The movie is an equivalent of the female version of Zindagi na mile ge doobara, but the waiting period is now extended.
The female-oriented travel film seems to be on a hold. For the moment, Farhan is working with Aamir to film the Campeones remake and it should start by October.
