The second wave of novel corona virus continues to grim across the country. Many celebrities are trying to help people who are suffering in the pandemic. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is also trying her bit to help people around. She launched a foundation, You Only Live Once, which now has ties with other NGOs who are helping people in the current situation.
Jacqueline Fernandez took to her Instagram handle on Thursday and shared a series of pictures of her as she visited a NGO, Roti Bank in Mumbai and helped to distribute meals to people. She captioned her picture as, “Mother Teresa once said, “Peace begins when the hungry are fed.” I was truly humbled and inspired to visit Mumbai @rotibankfdn today, which is run by former Mumbai police commissioner Mr. D Sivanandan. Roti Bank has prepared and distributed meals to millions of hungry people till date, even during the pandemic.

Many other celebrities are helping in the ongoing crisis. They are offering their help to the people in need. Recently, Akshay and his wife arranged 100 oxygen concentrators. Salman Khan started an initiative ‘Being Haangryy’ to feed frontline workers in Mumbai. Also, actors Sonu Sood, Ajay Devgn are coming forward to help the people fighting with the deadly virus.
Meanwhile, many other celebs are using their social media platforms to amplify the resources and needs for those who are struggling in current Covid-19 crisis in the country. They are trying to do their bit by sharing relevant information for the availability of the beds, oxygen cylinders and also urging people to stay at home.
