This month, Jang Na-ra, a South Korean singer-actress, and Andy Lee, a member of the boy band Shinhwa, will marry.

Jang, 41, announced her planned wedding on social media.

“After dating this wonderful friend of mine for the last two years, who is six years younger than me and works in video production, we have finally made a promise of a life partnership,” she wrote in Korean, which entertainment portal Allkpop translated into English.

“I fell for his charming smile, his generosity, his genuine honesty, and most of all, for the way he conducted himself as he put his all into work,” Jang, who starred in the K-dramas The Last Empress (2018 to 2019) and VIP, stated.

She also expressed regret for not releasing more information about her non-celebrity boyfriend because she wanted to safeguard his privacy.

At the end of June, the couple plans to have a modest private wedding. Meanwhile, Lee, who announced his engagement in January, is slated to marry television presenter Lee Eun-joo on June 12.

On Friday, the couple’s wedding planner, Happy Married Company, revealed a series of beautiful photographs from their pre-wedding session.

Andy Lee, 41, has been a member of Shinhwa, a first-generation boy band in K-pop, since 1998 and has also dabbled in acting and music production.

His fiancée, who is eight years younger than him, is a news anchor on the MBC Jeju station. — Asia News Network/The Straits Times
