Jenna Dewan recalls her early days of motherhood on her latest appearance at Dear Media’s podcast Dear Gabby. The 40-year-old actress shared the hardship and struggles she faced after giving birth to her now 8-year-old daughter Everly in London while ex-husband Channing Tatum was shooting. She revealed the difficulties she faced as a working parent as the actress continued work while traveling alone with the new born baby. Jeena who started his shooting on Witches of East End in Canada just after a brief time subsequent to bringing forth her firstborn, said Channing wasn’t accessible with them as he had being busy with his work commitments after the birth of their first child Everly.
According to the People, the 40-year-old actress said, “I had to travel with her and at the time, Chan wasn’t available to be with us for the most part. So, it was me, my doula, and Evie all by ourselves traveling for six weeks.” Jeena also disclosed that parenting and maintaining her career together became very difficult for her as she had to stay in set for long hours and also faced a postpartum anxiety at the time. “It was like, I just never stopped. You know, you’re up a couple times in the night, and then you’re working all day,” she recalled. “I was breastfeeding, I was pumping, I was without a partner, I mean it was just craziness,” revealed the actress.
Jeena and Channing got divorced in 2018, after almost ten years of marriage. Since then the actress have been dating Steve Kazee and the couple got engaged back in February 2020. They became parents to sixteen-month-old son Callum the following month
