Jimmy Sheirgill has been a part of Bollywood for more than 2 decades. He made his Bollywood debut with the critically acclaimed film ‘Maachis’ in 1996. Soon after, he rose to fame with Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Amitabh Bachchan‘s hit film ‘Mohabbatein’. He did a commendable job in the film Mohabbatein. He was next seen in supporting roles for films like ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, and more.
Jimmy recently opened up about how he survived in the industry for 25 years without a godfather. He said that he made the best of every situation and took up any interesting roles that came his way. He talked about how he didn’t have the luxury to wait for lead roles. This lead to him being typecasted and people only saw him as the supporting actor. He feels that he had to make the best of everything as nothing got handed to him on a platter.
Jimmy was last seen in Kangana and Rajkummar Rao starrer ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. He also made his digital debut in 2021.
