Neetu Singh is an Indian actress who is known for appearing in Hindi films throughout the late 1960s,1970, and early 1980. In 2012, she was inducted into the Walk of the Stars, an entertainment hall of fame at Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai.

Veteran actor Neetu Singh on Sunday said the upcoming film “Jugjugg Jeeyo” is the perfect way to end her nine-year-old sabbatical from acting, a decision she feels her late husband would have been really happy about.

Neetu Singh last appeared on the big screen in 2013 in the action-comedy ”Besharam” with Rishi Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor.

Raj Mehta‘s ”Jugjugg Jeeyo” has helped her cope with her husband’s death in 2020. She feels returning to work after the long sabbatical has been one of her best decisions. The movie stars Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Manish Kaul, Prajata Koli, and Neetu Singh. The movie is scheduled to release on 24th June 2022. A story set in heart of Patiala and much like the city, it’s full of love, laughter, drama, and color. The story is about family life and its values, unresolved yearnings, and unexpected reconciliations.

Anil Kapoor, who plays Neetu Kapoor’s on-screen husband in the comedy, said he was fortunate to have shared the screen space with her. The 65-year-old said,” It has been my pleasure and honor to work with the best-Neetu Kapoor. How lucky I am there opposite her in her comeback film.”

Dhawan called Neetu one of the finest Indian artists and said the veteran was going to ‘shock’ everyone with her stunning performance.

The star herself says,” My confidence level was zero as we started shooting the film six months after Rishiji passed away. Before every shot I thought I would fumble, something would go wrong. I was very unsure”.She credits her children for giving her strength and complete moral support.
