All the Bollywood stars are making their way into OTT, so why should our Bebo stay behind? Kareena is all smiles and excited about her OTT debut. She feels her co-stars kept her alert and it was good to work with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
At the trailer launch, Kareena shared she had jitters and was nervous. The actor said that watching the promo so closely on the TV screens gave her jitters as people would now be seeing the trailer closely on their phones. She’ll be playing a ‘hot padosi’-turned murder suspect in Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller movie that will be screening on Netflix.
Kareena said, “It all happened thanks to Jayu(co-producer Jay Shewakramani), who has made this film along with Akshai Puri. He had this idea during Bhoot Police of why don’t we make this film. We were shooting in Dharamshala and I was pregnant with Jeh then. Everything just came together. He came back saying Sujoy is very excited and he has been with the script for so long.”
Ready to air on the 21st September, Kareena shared an interesting advice Saif had given her, “Saif had already told me, ‘Listen it’s not like van se make up laga ke nikalogi aur set pe dialogue bologi. Stop this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay, be prepared. They would be improvising and all, so you better be on your toes. It’s not like a picnic.’ He warned me. So, I was a little more like a student who is more alert.”
Kareena clearly stated that working with her co-stars kept her on her toes and was like a breath of fresh air, they were really amazing to work with.
