The internet took to storm on Wednesday after rumors of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal‘s engagement began. The duo has apparently been seeing each other for a year now and has appeared together on several occasions and events. However, they have not made their relationship official yet.
One of the leading dailies had an interaction with Katrina’s team and they told, “Katrina is preparing for Tiger 3, and other projects. The engagement rumor is far from true.”
Vicky’s team too denied the rumors of any roka or engagement news and said he is busy shooting for his upcoming film.
Katrina and Vicky have stayed mum about their relationship, but their fans hope they make it official soon. In April this year, Vicky Kaushal tested positive for novel coronavirus, and the next day, Katrina shared her diagnosis on her Instagram handle.
The speculations about their relationship sparked in 2019 when the two were spotted at a dinner date in Mumbai.
In June 2021, actor Harshvardhan Kapoor had confirmed that Katrina and Vicky are indeed together. In an interview, he said, “Vicky and Katrina are together, that’s true. Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don’t know. I think they’re quite open about it.”
Meanwhile, on the work front Katrina is awaiting the release of Sooryavanshi also starring Akshay Kumar. Currently, she is shooting for Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi. Besides this, she also has Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter in her pipeline.
Vicky, on the other hand, is busy working on his forthcoming film, The Immortal Ashwatthama. He will also be seen in Sardar Udham Singh and Sam Bahadur biopics.
