Kaun Banega Crorepati is a popular game show on television. The show hosted by superstar Amitabh Bachchan has returned with a new season, which has already sparked a lot of interest among viewers. The first episode of the popular game show aired yesterday (August 23). Gyaan Raj, a scientist, was the first contestant on the show, and has won Rs 3.2 lakh after failing to answer the 12th question. The question he didn’t answer was for Rs 12, 50,000. And now the in an interview with Hindustan Times, Gyaan has revealed what he intends to do with the winning money.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Gyaan said, “I will use the amount to get my mother’s eye surgery done with this amount. It was pending for so long due to a financial crunch. I will try to fund my school and try to give them facilities,” he also added that the amount is less but somehow he will manage. Gyaan also admitted that he was nervous before meeting to Amitabh Bachchan, but his down to earth nature had made the scientist feel comfortable.

He further spoke that he has got inspired from his mother, who is also a teacher. Speaking on the same, the young scientist added, “I was in Class 2, my father bought me a computer. People used to visit us and ask for help. Even political leaders used to visit us to send emails. It all felt very nice, and I wanted to be a computer engineer.”

Lastly, he also stated that Aamir Khan’s portrayal in Three Idiots inspired him, and that he wanted to accomplish something for which the world would seek him out.
