Actress Kiara Advani has been in Bollywood for the last 8 years and of late, has been busy promoting her film Jugjugg Jeeyo. In a recent interview, the actress opens up about reuniting with her Lust Stories co-star Vicky Kaushal in Govinda Naam Mera. The movie has been announced lately and she calls their bond ‘unique.’
Starring Vicky, Kiara and Bhumi in the lead, the movie is a comedy-thriller. It is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan and Kiara, along with Bhumi and Vicky. Backed by Dharma Productions, the release date is yet to be set.
Kiara adds, “Vicky and I have always been paired in the most unique way. Lust stories was such a unique relationship, so entertaining with a lot of depth and layers at the same time. And here again, I feel it’ s a very interesting equation, a different genre of a film. I don’t know what to call it yet because I don’ t know. It’s like a thriller….bur we still have to find the term to coin for this particular genre because I think it’s something new, different. I keep saying it’s trippy as people on the sets have called it so.”
Further she comments, “Vicky and I here, our relationship in the film is very unique, it’s not run off the mill, it’s not something you have seen before. Somehow, we just always get paired with these quirky, funky equations. So I am looking forward to seeing how people receive this one.”
Kiara has a few aces up her sleeves like Jugjugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. This movie is all set to release on June 24, 2022 and is backed by Karan Johar.
